The following are examples of items on Facebook that violate the intellectual property of We Buy Houses.
Images and Content
Copying images or content from WeBuyHouses.com is a copyright violation. The most common form of this is using our copyrighted billboard images in videos, web sites, or other marketing materials.
All content within WeBuyHouses.com, our marketing materials, and any other content created by We Buy Houses may not be used without explicit license of the brand.
Username and URL
URL/Username of a Facebook page or account may not contain We Buy Houses anywhere within the URL or Page Title. This is commonly used in an effort to rank highly in search engine results using the We Buy Houses brand.
To change your Facebook Username/URL visit Facebook’s Username Page and select a drop down for your page or account.
The title or name of the Facebook page must not contain We Buy Houses in it. This is the name that shows up in the search bar (see above image) and in large letters under the cover photo. To change your page name, visit Facebook’s Page Name Page.
Posting photos that contain the We Buy Houses trademarks into the Facebook timeline or photos page is not permissible. Investors will sometimes do this to confuse home owners that they are the company We Buy Houses.
